Our group project for 2017 was to make some quilts for a children’s charity, Project Linus. 

Every month, each member made two economy blocks using a tutorial by Red Pepper Quilts.

It was a lovely group project for our first year, and for such a worthly cause.

Project Linus aims to provide a sense of security and comfort to sick and traumatised babies, children and teenagers through the provision of new home made patchwork quilts and knitted/crocheted blankets, and give volunteers across the UK the opportunity to contribute to their local community.
